Therapy in Washington, DC

Sessions are accessible across DC through HIPAA-compliant secure online therapy.

If you’re based in Washington, DC, I offer virtual therapy for adults and teens who may be navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual trauma or assault, relationship challenges, or the lasting effects of difficult and overwhelming experiences. My approach is trauma-informed and individualized, with attention to both your experiences and how they may be showing up in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and body.

Together, we can explore what has been happening in your life, better understand patterns that may be affecting you, and develop ways of responding that feel more supportive and sustainable.

What To Expect With Online Therapy

If you’re new to Telehealth, it’s completely normal to have questions. Therapy takes place through secure video sessions, allowing you to meet from a space that feels private, comfortable, and familiar. You might settle into your favorite chair, make a cup of tea, or wrap yourself in a cozy blanket before we begin.

To support your privacy and make it easier to speak openly, sessions should take place in a quiet, private location where you feel comfortable talking freely. You must be physically located in Washington, DC during your therapy session. For safety reasons, sessions cannot be conducted while driving or operating a vehicle.

Before each appointment, you can choose to receive two reminders by email or text message. Before your first session, you’ll receive a secure link to join through SimplePractice. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.

And yes, comfortable clothes, snacks, and a favorite personal item are all welcome! Curating a space to suit your needs in part of the therapeutic process.
